The Whittaker Library contains the largest performing arts collection in Scotland and is open to the public for reference purposes.

We also participate in several access schemes including  SCURL Access , SCONUL Access  and the Glasgow Area Libraries Together access scheme.

The Library is a member of the Scottish Confederation of University and Research Libraries (SCURL) and the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) and we collaborate in a number of national projects.

We are fully supportive of the National Library of Scotland's developing strategy of widening access to its collections.

The IT Department provides access to a growing number of Electronic Resources via a student IT suite with 24 PC's. A dedicated IT Trainer is also on hand to provide training and support. IT facilities are not available to the public.
