IT Information

The student IT Lab is located on the ground floor of the building in the AGOS and is equipped with 48 PC's.

The IT  facilities also extend to 16 AV/IT study spaces located in the Library.  All Lab PC’s have the following software:

  • Office 2007
  • Sibelius 6
  • Audacity 1.3
  • Read and Write Version 9
  • Inspiration Version 8
  • MyStudyBar
  • Cerevoice SAPI Heather 2.1.1
  • Various Web Applications, i.e., Real Player, Windows Media Player and Quick Time.

There are further 13 PC's located around the building for fast e-mail checking.

Opening hours for the Labs vary with the terms, but the core supported hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. All students also have access to the VLE, Moodle , which contains information and content relating to courses, as well as support material and scoial areas.
