Commercial Services

RSAMD provides a number of commercial services, including supplying junior and senior student performers for events and productions beyond the Academy, venue hire, CPD and training courses, support links to networks, research and consultancy services.

 

Maggie Kinloch, Vice Principal and Director of Drama and Dance at the Academy acknowledges 'We know how important it is to perform well in all aspects of business and in life.  The Academy really enjoys putting the talents of our specialist tutors, our students and spaces within the reach of the business and other communities.  We have an amazing national resource to share and look forward to making new connections with other professional people and projects across Scotland.'

The Talking Business - Tueday 13 April 2010

  

Following on from the success of last years Talking Business courses, the Centre for Voice in Performance is delighted to announce that it will run a further day on Talking Business – The Art of Vocal Presentation, designed specifically for professionals in the business community wishing to hone their public, presentation or after-dinner speaking skills.
 
This intensive one day workshops will provide an opportunity to develop vocal confidence by using practical exercises to control performance stress, improve vocal quality, recognize the pitfalls of acoustics and shape words for maximum impact.
 
Talking Business; the day long course costs £75 and will take place on Tuesday 13 April 2010 at the Academy.
 
Previous attendees have included HR directors, higher education specialists, fundraisers, NHS managers, teachers and bank managers.
