Academy Alumni Winners at BAFTA Scotland Awards
Three Academy alumni were among the winners at the BAFTA Scotland awards in Glasgow last night.
Robert Carlyle, pipped fellow Academy alumnus Dr Who actor, David Tennant, to take the title of Best Acting Performance in Television for a Male. He won his award for The Unloved, a drama about a young girl growing up in a children's home.

Acting Performance in Television: Female, Daniela Nardini, New Town
Award for Craft: Patrick Doyle
The awards were hosted by TV presenter, Lorraine Kelly.
The awards took place at the Glasgow Science Centre in front of an audience of over 500 which included Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, Academy Principal John Wallace and Alison Forsyth, Director of the Scottish Stage and Screen Network and former Director of BAFTA Scotland.
Also, in this year’s Theatrical Management Association Theatre Awards, Graduate Alexandra Silber won the award for the Best Performance in a Musical (Carousel) for the Ambassador Theatre Group in conjunction with the Churchill, Bromley.
