Opera

MMus Opera

This specialisation is available only to students undertaking the MMus course on a full-time basis. Ideally this course is envisaged as the first year of a two-year training for the operatic stage. Weekly individual singing lessons and coaching lessons are given a high priority. Public workshop presentations of opera scenes are given in the studio theatre within the Alexander Gibson Opera School and students may also be invited to take part in fully-staged RSAMD productions.
