Master of Opera

This course in advanced opera training is only available on a one year, full-time basis and to students who have completed the MMus (Opera) or who have pursued equivalent operatic study at postgraduate level elsewhere.

The course is orientated towards fully-fledged operatic performance. Three public productions are staged each year and students work with guest directors and conductors to a professional standard. The course develops the range of students’ experience and their contacts within the profession through individual lessons, specialised masterclasses and intensive repertoire and language coaching.
