International Students

We are delighted that you are interested in studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Please download our International Student Handbook (PDF File)  which will give you all of the information you will need to start off your studies with us. We welcome applications from international students and are confident that you will get a flavour of our exciting and invigorating environment as you explore RSAMD through our web pages.

Each year students from over 45 countries come to study at the RSAMD. As a student at Scotland’s international conservatoire you will be joining a truly multi-cultural environment. You will be studying in a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students are encouraged to realise their aspirations.

During the first week of term, there are a number of activities organized to help you find your feet and to help you settle into life in Glasgow. You will meet many other students from the UK and from other parts of the world.

At RSAMD, we understand that arriving in a new country to study can be quite daunting at first. We hope the information provided will be a good starting point in helping you to understand the various aspects of life, study and play at the Academy.

Please click here to find out a little bit about the Academy, what life is like in Glasgow and answers to some of the questions you might have about applying, fees, scholarships...
