BA Technical and Production Arts

The Technical and Production Arts course staff consists of permanent lecturers and tutors as well as freelance tutors, visiting and guest tutors and industry specialists. This provides students with a well-rounded teaching structure of both theoretical and practical skills.

During formal teaching terms students will be taught by a variety of freelance guest tutors. The freelance tutors come from a variety of specialist backgrounds in pyrotechnics, communication, stage lighting design including:

Visiting Guest Staff

       
The Royal Conservatoire employs a wide range of visiting guest staff to work on productions. These include professional Directors, Set & Costume Designers, Stage Lighting Designers and Production Managers.
        
We also employ a wide variety of leading practitioners from the entertainment industry as guest speakers. We offer all Technical and Production Arts students sessions with these industry experts to ask questions about their experiences in the theatre, stage and entertainment industries.
  
Students will have the opportunity to work closely with guest staff and be mentored by them whilst undertaking the senior level production role.
